Parasites Are a Signal, Not the Root Cause

Parasites Are a Signal, Not the Root Cause

Parasites often expose what the body has been compensating for quietly. In my book GcMAF and the Missing Context in Immune Health, I describe parasites not as invaders to fear, but as opportunists that respond to terrain imbalance. They appear when immune signalling becomes noisy, when cellular debris accumulates, and when macrophages are forced into constant defence rather than regulation.

Many people focus on what parasite they have, but the more important question is why the internal environment allowed persistence. Macrophages are responsible for cellular clean up, tissue clarity, and immune coordination. When they are overwhelmed by toxins, chronic inflammation, unresolved infections, or nutrient depletion, parasites are able to coexist within that chaos.

This is why aggressive eradication alone often fails. Without restoring immune clarity, drainage, and metabolic balance, the terrain remains permissive. Sustainable change happens when the body regains its ability to regulate itself. Parasites fade when the environment no longer supports them.
