Over a period of approximately 15 years, he observed a group of women, primarily in their twenties, who either wore bras regularly or chose not to. The proposed explanation was that, without artificial support, the body naturally strengthens the supporting structures of the breast, particularly the Cooper’s ligaments and surrounding musculature.

Some also suggest that this repeated stimulation may help tone the surrounding tissue over time. However, it is important to clarify that breasts do not contain muscle tissue themselves, so they cannot be tightened in the same way muscles can.
